Seeking the security of being an in house Costs Draftsman?

Law Firm in the Centre of Birmingham seeking a Costs Draftsman with 1-2 years experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking law firm that is expanding and taking on new and exciting clients.

The established team are looking to take someone on who will be trained and developed into all aspects of Costs. From Personal Injury through to Commercial litigation.

Main duties for Costs Draftsman

- Reporting to the Costs Manager handling own caseload of PI, Clinical Negligence and Commercial Litigation with some publicly funded work
- Drafting bills of Costs for Detailed assessment
- Negotiation on Bills of costs to settlement
- Preparing points of reply
- Attending detailed assessments hearings, training and development will be given

Personal Specification

- At least 1 years experience as a Costs Draftsman
- Knowledge of Case law and CPR
- Membership of the ACL is advantageous
